When should I start looking for my dress?
Ideally, 12 months to ensure you’ve tried on the fullest range of options. However, if your wedding is just around the corner, we can accommodate all timelines!
How many people can I bring to the appointment?
We ask you to bring no more than 3 guests (in addition to the bride) for your bridal-wear appointment.
What do I need to bring to the appointment?
Make-up and foundation is best avoided as it can stain the dress.
Do you provide wedding dress alterations?
All alterations to fit is part of the dress price for dresses bought at Rebekah’s.
Apart from this, should you wish to further customize your dress, our team can make the little changes at a special price, to make your dress perfect for you.
What is the price range of your wedding dresses?
Maggie Sottero, Rebecca Ingram and Sottero & Midgley wedding dresses range from AED 5,000 to 15,000.
Custom made wedding dresses – from AED 4,500 onwards depending on the style, fabric, embellishments and other details. Our Bridal Dressmaker will give you a quote at the boutique, for your specific design.
What is the time taken for custom made dresses made at the boutique?
Custom made dresses can take from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the style and dress details.
A toile’ dress (lining fabric dress) is made within 10 working days to check for silhouette fitting. First full dress fitting 2-3 weeks after that. A custom made wedding dress may require 3 to 6 fitting sessions to ensure a good and comfortable fit.
Do you provide wedding dress alterations for dresses bought at another store?
We provide dress alterations, repair and other customisation options at our boutique. You would need to meet our Dressmaker with the dress to get a quote for alteration. Alteration costs depends on the tasks that need to be completed on the dress, layers of fabric, flare of skirt, lace applique repositioning etc.
Time taken can be anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks depending on tasks.
We also provide early alteration service (when possible, depending on orders at hand) at a surcharge of 50%.

What sizes do you stock?
The sizes we stock are from UK size 10 to UK size 26.
A dress can be ordered petite to plus-size, handmade per a bride’s options for customization and accessories. Many of the Maggie Sottero styles also feature variations in coverage, sleeve lengths, neckline styles, illusion details, shapewear lining, and more.
Have your measurements professionally taken at our boutique. We are there to help you order your gown according to your body and the fit of the gown to ensure it’s just right.
Do you stock bridal accessories?
We have bridal tiaras, hair ornaments, garters and make bridal lace gloves.
What about dresses for the bridal party?
You can order a made-to-measure dress from the 7 standard silhouettes (color of your choice) we have for bridesmaid dresses. You will provide the measurements on the form, there will be no fitting sessions or dress alterations. These dresses are priced at AED 700 inclusive of fabric.
We also make custom made dresses with two to four fitting sessions. Cost of dress depends on the style. We help source suitable dress fabric for you.
Can I cancel my appointment?
We understand the unexpected happens. We are happy to reschedule your appointment if it is at least 48 hours before your appointment time.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept of major credit card and cash. We also accept payments by bank transfer.
